My brother and I in front of the Castle! How magical!
Now I’ll tell you about another obsession of mine:Disneyland! I absolutely love Disneyland. Everything about it is simply magical. Once you enter those green gates you’re no longer a stressed out student worrying about getting an A in English and a full ride to a university; nope, now you’re a child in every way enjoying a day devoted to fun and magic. Disney reminds us how beautiful those dreams that we used to believe in are.
At Disneyland I don’t care about my real life, I just let myself have as much fun as is humanly possible! It’s extraordinary to let yourself do that every once in a while! I play all day, scream as loud as I can on the rollercoasters, laugh as hard as I can at the shows, and don’t even hold back sentimental tears while watching the fireworks.
The last reason why I love Disney so much is my history. My grandparents were there on opening day, so I think it’s in my genes. I remember Disneyland as being a place all about family. It wouldn’t (and isn’t) the same without my family! Which is why I’m so excited to be going March 27 with my mom and brother! yay! I can’t wait! So if you have any thoughts please leave comments! I’d love that! Thanks as always for reading.

There’s something so neat about antiques. It has history. It’s something that has lived with someone for years on end and is now looking for a new home. I love going to antique stores, ebay, garage sales, and thrift stores to find cool stuff like this. It’s like treasure hunting! So I’ve decided show you guys a few of my favorites:
1) My oil painting of a little family. Probably my favorite thing in my room. Got it at a cheesy little antique store in Tula Rosa, New Mexico for $30.
2) My chair! I love this thing sooo much! Got it at a booth at a craft fair last year for $15
3) Awesome pictures…not exactly “antique” but they’re reproductions of antiques so that sort of counts. I got these in *Paris* which is a trip I’ll probably write about some other time.
Well let me know if you have an antique fetish like me, and if so why you like them. Also let me know of cool antique places to shop (esp on the cheap!). If there’s anything I love more than shopping in general it’s getting a good deal! Thanks for reading!

Hi thanks for reading. I see this blog as a venue. A venue to write about things I like that other people might like too! Some of the topics near and dear to my heart range from what an amazing God we have and how people work to my favorite places to buy vintage clothes and reality tv. So if you want to get a little glimpse into my life go ahead, I’m an open book…
